Travel Back to 1978 With this Original Intellivision Promo, Narrated By William Shatner

Here’s a blast from the past for you: A demo tape from 1978 introducing Mattel Electronics’ Intellivision, narrated by none other than William Shatner.

“This original never-before-seen Intellivision promotional video from 1978 has never been released to the general public. We pulled it out of our archives to share with everyone on our 40th Anniversary. This was filmed a year before the official launch and there are some images and information in the video that are different from what ended up coming out.”

Intellivision was just a bit before my time, but I actually have one in a box around here somewhere (might be an Intellivison 2, come to think of it). There’s just something cool about old electronics and game consoles.

I think it’s that faux wood finish.
