Life on the farm is usually quiet and laid back. Water some plants, milk a cow. Take a quick trip down to the lake and sacrifice some onions to the local Harvest Goddess. But leave it to a rogue nuclear bomb to throw everything out of balance.
Well, if you’ve ever wondered what life would be like as a farmer trapped in a nuclear hellscape, Raw Fury and Birth Bath Games promise to let you live out those post-apocalyptic farming dreams in their upcoming game Atomicrops.

(Joja Corp. has nothing on this.)
It’s like Harvest Moon, but here the vegetables bite back.
Billed as an “action roguelite farming simulator,” Atomicrops sees you pick up a hoe not just for farming turnips, but for defending the homestead against all manner of mutated creatures and wasteland bandits. Get married, not for love but for someone to cover your six. And oh, yeah, upgrade your farm house while a carrot with eyes watches from over there in the corner.

(Farm. Marry. Kill.)
Atomicrops will release later this year on consoles and PC.
(Also, thumbs way up for that intro animation. Way up.)
Update: Atomicrops will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC.
