Some people don’t want a real cat. They want a spherical hairball with a tail. They want a Qoobo.
“Stroke it, and the tail waves gently. Rub it, and the tail swings playfully. It occasionally wags just to say ‘Hello’!”
That’s Petit Qoobo, billed as a “cushion-type therapy robot.” It’s smaller than its full-size cousin, the regular Qoobo, and has apparently hit 929% of its crowdfunding goal as I write this. What can I say? People want what they want!
But listen: If it doesn’t try to bite me after petting it ever-so-slightly too long, then it’s just not like a real cat.
