Limited Run Games will open up pre-orders for physical versions of the Castlevania Anniversary Collection for PS4 and Switch on May 14, 2021.

You’ll have your choice of the Classic, Bloodlines, or Ultimate flavors, each with their own toppings.
The Classic edition comes with a retro NES-style box and dust sleeve, the OST, and reversible posters. The Bloodlines edition, on the other hand, includes a Genesis-style clamshell case.
The Ultimate edition, meanwhile, includes everything from Bloodlines and Classic, along with a steelbook, retro box art prints, a History Of Castlevania book, and a lit shadow box. Oh, and a bunch of tiny box replicas and an enamel pin.
The base game itself without any extras will run you $34.99. Pre-orders will close on June 27, 2021.

The best thing about the Anniversary Collection? The Famicon ports. The collection comes with the original Famicon NES Castlevanias, particularly Castlevania III or Akumajo Densetsu. Did you know the original cartridge release had a built-in VRC6 sound chip?
