Do You Hear That? New Paranormal Activity Moves to 2022

Katie Featherston in Paranormal Activity

I hear a faint rumbling sound, and you know what that means — a new Paranormal Activity is on the way.

Unfortunately, even the other side is facing delays this year, and according to Deadline the film has been pushed back from March 19, 2021 all the way to March 4, 2022.

Christopher Landon, who worked on Paranormal Activity 2-5, has also returned to give an ethereal hand to the production. No word yet on story details.

This will make for the seventh entry in the series, following The Ghost Dimension in 2015. Coincidentally, as Deadline also points out, on March 4, 2022, Paranormal Activity will meet with a monster of a different variety — Minecraft.
