Hasbro Unveils New Ghostbusters: Afterlife Action Figures

Winston reads the classifieds

Hot off the release of the latest trailer, Hasbro have revealed a number of new toys inspired by Ghostbusters: Afterlife, including new sets of Ghostbusters action figures. They’re like the old ones, only a bit more realistic and with a touch of gray.

Spoilers ahoy.

The highlight is, of course, the 6-inch Plasma Series Afterlife Figures, featuring our three remaining Ghostbusters — Dr. Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Winston Zeddemore:

Each figure, sold separately, comes equipped with a proton pack (presumably aside from Podcast, who gets the RC trap), as well as a single piece of a “build-a-ghost” that, when completed, forms a Sentinal Terror Dog:

Another set, called Fright Features, are 5-inch figures that also come with miniature ghosts:

Hasbro also plans to release a Ghostbusters-themed Clue board game, as well as a remote-controlled RC Ghost Trap and Mini-Puft Popper. Everything will be available to purchase at major retailers later this year.
