According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Bacon will play the villain in Legendary Entertainment’s upcoming reboot of The Toxic Avenger. He’ll be starring alongside Peter Dinklage, Taylour Paige, and Jacob Tremblay. Filming will begin later this month.
The original Toxic Avenger released back in 1984. The new film, directed by Macon Blair, will once again focus on a “struggling everyman” who winds up getting pushed into a vat of toxic waste, later becoming the Monster Hero, also known as Toxie.
