I rented Pokemon Snap once from Hollywood Video as a kid. That’s how old I am, and that’s how long it’s been since we’ve seen a new Pokemon Snap. But hey, look, there’s New Pokemon Snap right there. It’s in the title.
“‘New Pokemon Snap’ on Nintendo Switch is a completely new game based on ‘Pokemon Snap’ released on Nintendo 64 in 1999. To investigate the ecology of various Pokemon, adventure on an unknown island begins!”
That’s right, Trainers—#PokemonSnapIsBack! #NewPokemonSnap is an all-new adventure inspired by the classic Nintendo 64 game.

Take pictures of Pikachu, Blastoise, and that three-headed turkey thing eating fruit while you ride along in a bubble. What more do you want? I’m just surprised they didn’t release the game on Wii U, with its two screens and all.
No word yet on a release date.
