Ryan Gosling ‘Wolfman’ Still In The Pipeline, Says Jason Blum

Ryan Gosling as The Wolf Man?

I know you’ve been drooling in anticipation ever since a remake of 1941’s The Wolf Man was announced last year, potentially starring Ryan Gosling.

Well, you’ll be happy to hear that, according to a recent interview with Jason Blum over at Collider, that project is still on the way.

“Wolfman, we are also working on the script, got to get the script, right. In that case, it’s Ryan Gosling not Scott Cawthon. But working on trying to get a script that he feels good about and comfortable about and excited about.”

He also says they’ve got at least “two or three” other Universal Monster remakes in the oven. Who could they be? The Creature? Another Mummy? Abbott and Costello?

Maybe they’ll mix things up a bit and push out that Incredible Shrinking Man remake I’ve been hearing about for years and years. Time will tell.
