Writer and director Colin Levy presents his “sci-fi proof of concept” SKYWATCH, available to watch free on YouTube.
“When two outcast teens hack into a ubiquitous drone delivery system to pull a prank on their neighbor, they accidentally crash-land a dangerous prototype – and find themselves entangled in a life-and-death conspiracy.”
SKYWATCH, released on December 4, 2019, was boosted by a successful 2017 Kickstarter campaign, which raised $52,928 with a total of 490 backers. It took about six years to make, according to Levy, and the hope is that its setting and characters may be a jumping-off point for a future feature film.
SKYWATCH stars Uriah Shelton (13 Reasons Why) and Zach Callison (of Just Add Magic and Steven Universe fame), along with a quick cameo by Jude Law. Full credits are available at the film’s official website.
