Sony shuttered developer Studio Liverpool (formerly Psygnosis) in 2012, and no one would blame you for thinking that was the last we’d ever see of WipEout. But not so!
In December, Sony revealed the WipEout Omega Collection, bringing the three modern WipEouts — HD, Fury, and the Vita’s 2048 — together as one to Playstation 4. And, now, they’ve provided a new release trailer. The game will feature online multiplayer, 2-player split-screen, and 4k resolution.
Now we can really vibe in pulse mode.
The Omega Collection is planned for release in the United States on June 6, 2017, and in Europe on June 7.
