HBO Max Features Monstrous Collection Of Showa-Era Godzilla

MechaGodzilla and his special eyes

WarnerMedia launched their new streaming service HBO Max on May 27, and what you might not know is that they’ve included nearly all of the Showa-era Godzilla films.

Notably missing are King Kong vs. Godzilla and All Monsters Attack. Here’s the full list (in order of release):

  • Godzilla
  • Godzilla Raids Again
  • Mothra Vs. Godzilla
  • Ghidora the Three-Headed Monster
  • Invasion of Astro-Monster
  • Ebirah, Horror of the Deep
  • Son Of Godzilla
  • Destroy All Monsters
  • Godzilla Vs. Hedorah
  • Godzilla vs. Megalon
  • Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla
  • Terror of Mechagodzilla

You’ll also find Rodan, The War of the Gargantuas, the original 1933 King Kong, and last year’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Everything’s in HD, as well, though unfortunately no 4K.
