[Trailer] Resident Evil Showcase Features 4th Village Trailer

Believe it or not, today’s Resident Evil Showcase not only celebrated the franchise’s 25th anniversary, it also featured a new trailer for Resident Evil Village, in which everyone really wants to say hello to Ethan Winters.

Also announced during the showcase were two Playstation early access demos of Village, the first beginning this weekend and allowing players to explore the village section of the game for 30 minutes. On April 29, the second Playstation demo will be available, featuring the castle, also for 30 minutes.

A multiplatform demo will then be available on May 1, featuring one hour’s worth of both the village and castle.

Another unexpected announcement: The full game will also feature The Mercenaries, a classic Resident Evil extra game mode, that adds an arcadey touch to your survival horror. Just to mix things up a bit.

Resident Evil Village will release May 7, 2021 on PS4/5, Xbox One/Series X, Steam, and Stadia.
