Virtual Pets Come to Life In SciFi Short “Strange Beasts” (2018)

Pokemon Go sure is looking a bit different in the scifi short film Strange Beasts, written and directed by Magali Barbé.

“‘Strange Beasts’ is an augmented reality game. It allows you to create and grow your own virtual pet. How far can it go?”

The short, featured on DUST, takes a very brief look at the potential future of virtual and alternate reality experiences. But if we can make cute little monsters that play catch and make a mess on the sofa…what else can we create?
