Above, Playstation Japan shares over 40 minutes of gameplay from Team Ninja’s upcoming Nioh 2.
An open beta on Playstation 4 has also been announced, which will be available to download on the Playstation Store from November 1 to November 10:

“Yokai hunters, ready to face the Dark Realm?” they asked on Twitter.
The game, which is a prequel to the first Nioh, is set to release in early 2020, and will feature a few changes from the original. You’ll be able to create your own character, as well as customize your yokai form, which appears as an ability called Yokai Shift. There will also be some upgraded multiplayer experiences, such as bringing in NPC versions of other players to help take down enemies.
